Why Choose Us

What Sets Our Workshop Apart

Trained Horologists

Our watchmakers have formal training in mechanical horology and have worked on movements from pocket watches to complex automatics. The work is done by hand, carefully.

Clear Communication

We explain what we find before starting any work, agree on a plan together, and keep you informed along the way. Nothing proceeds without your understanding and consent.

Realistic Timelines

Good watchmaking cannot be rushed. We give honest estimates and hold to them. Most services complete within a few weeks, and we'll always let you know if anything changes.

Service Warranty

Completed services carry a written warranty covering the work performed. If an issue arises related to our work within the warranty period, we address it at no additional charge.

Northern Thai Roots

Our studio is on Nimmanhaemin Road in Chiang Mai — a city that respects craft. Clients appreciate the calm studio atmosphere and the lack of pressure that larger service centres can carry.

Heritage Sensitivity

Older watches are treated with particular care. We favour conservation over replacement wherever possible, and we source period-appropriate components for pieces where originality matters.

Questions & Answers

What People Often Ask

How do I know if my watch needs a service?

Common signs include gaining or losing more than a minute per day, the movement stopping unexpectedly, difficulty winding or setting, or moisture appearing beneath the crystal. Even without symptoms, most mechanical watches benefit from a service every four to seven years to keep the lubricants working properly.

How long does a typical service take?

A standard mechanical service generally takes two to four weeks from the time we receive the watch. Crystal and seal work is often quicker — sometimes within a week. Heritage restorations take longer depending on parts sourcing and the extent of work. We'll give you a realistic estimate at the outset and keep you updated throughout.

Do you service all watch brands?

We work on a wide range of mechanical and hand-wound watches — from everyday Japanese and Swiss movements to vintage European pieces. We're honest about the limits of our tooling and parts availability. If a watch is beyond our current scope, we'll tell you clearly and, where we can, suggest a specialist path.

What does the service warranty cover?

Our service warranty covers the labour and parts supplied during the completed job. If a fault directly related to our work appears within the warranty period, we'll look at it and correct it at no charge. The warranty does not cover new damage, accidental impact, or water ingress if the watch was used outside its rated depth after sealing.

Can I get an estimate before committing?

Yes — and we encourage it. You're welcome to bring the watch in or contact us with a description and photographs. We'll give you a realistic estimate and explain what the work involves. Nothing is started without your agreement, and for heritage restorations we put the assessment in writing first.

Do you restore watches that belonged to family members?

These are some of the pieces we care most about. Family heirlooms and inherited timepieces deserve a thoughtful approach — one that respects their history. Our heritage restoration service is designed for exactly this kind of work, balancing function with the preservation of originality wherever possible.

Is there a charge if you assess the watch and I decide not to proceed?

An initial conversation and a visual inspection are free of charge. If a more detailed diagnostic is needed — for example, opening a movement to assess internal condition — we'll discuss any assessment fee with you beforehand so there are no surprises.
