2. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website or contacting us to request services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
If you are acting on behalf of another person or organisation, you warrant that you have authority to do so. Continued use of our website after changes to these terms are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
3. Services
Manee Horology provides three primary services from its studio in Chiang Mai:
- Mechanical Service and Cleaning — from ฿4,600
- Crystal, Crown and Seal Renewal — from ฿7,800
- Heritage Timepiece Restoration — from ฿15,000
Prices shown are starting prices. The final cost is confirmed in writing after an initial assessment. No work begins until you have approved the written assessment and agreed to proceed.
We reserve the right to decline an enquiry or refuse to accept a watch for service at our reasonable discretion, for example if we do not have the relevant parts or expertise for a particular timepiece.
4. Your Responsibilities
When using our website or engaging our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when making an enquiry or delivering a watch for service
- Inform us of any known history, damage, or modifications to the watch before we begin any assessment
- Collect or arrange collection of your watch within 30 days of completion unless otherwise agreed
- Not use our website for any unlawful or harmful purpose, including attempting to introduce malicious code
- Not reproduce, copy, or redistribute our website content without prior written consent
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, layout, and design — belongs to Manee Horology or is used with permission. Nothing on this site transfers any ownership to you.
You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial reference only. Any other use, reproduction, or distribution requires our prior written consent.
6. Payment Terms
All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (฿). Payment is due on completion of work and before the watch is released, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept cash and bank transfer. Accepted methods are confirmed at the time of agreement.
- If additional work beyond the agreed scope is identified during service, we will pause and contact you before proceeding. No additional charges are applied without your approval.
- Where a watch is left uncollected for more than 60 days after completion and no contact has been made, we may apply a storage fee or, after reasonable notice, treat the watch as abandoned.
Cancellations before work begins incur no charge. If you withdraw after work has commenced, reasonable costs already incurred may be billed at our discretion.
7. Service Terms
All timelines provided are estimates. Completion times may vary depending on parts availability, the complexity of the watch, and workshop schedule. We will keep you informed of any significant changes.
Where original parts are unavailable, we will discuss suitable alternatives with you before proceeding. We do not fit parts you have not approved.
A service warranty covering the work performed will be provided in writing on completion. The warranty covers the specific work carried out and does not extend to unrelated components or subsequent damage.
8. Disclaimers
Our website is provided for informational purposes and is offered in good faith. We do not represent that all content is complete, current, or free of error, and we reserve the right to update it at any time.
Information on this website does not constitute professional horological or valuation advice. For insurance or appraisal purposes, please consult a qualified professional.
We cannot promise that all watch models or complications can be serviced. An assessment is required before we can confirm whether we are able to take on a particular piece.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Thai law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of use or loss of sentimental value, except where caused by our own negligence or wilful misconduct.
These limitations do not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under Thai consumer protection law.
10. Termination
Either party may end a service agreement by mutual written agreement before work begins, with no charge to either side.
We reserve the right to decline future service requests from any party who has acted dishonestly, been abusive toward our team, or failed to pay for previously completed work.
11. Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chiang Mai Province, Thailand.
If a concern arises, we ask that you contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. Most situations can be addressed quickly and fairly with a direct conversation.
If informal resolution is not possible, either party may seek mediation through the Consumer Protection Board of Thailand or another mutually agreed body before commencing formal proceedings.
12. General Provisions
- These terms, together with any written service agreement, constitute the full agreement between you and us in relation to the relevant service.
- If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- Our failure to enforce any provision on a given occasion does not waive our right to enforce it on future occasions.
- You may not assign your rights or obligations under any service agreement without our written consent. We may transfer our obligations to a suitably qualified successor without requiring your consent.
